This training course is done on-site at your business
premises.
Order picker trucks have the capacity to work at different heights,
categorised as medium and high. A training course is available for both categories
but completion of the high-level order picker course will equip you to operate the
medium category. Completion of the course will give you the skills to operate
the truck safely and efficiently, carry out a pre-use inspection and recall and
discuss the causes of truck and load instabilities.
Although mainly used for
picking stock from ground level, they suit all types of light-duty applications
such as horizontal transport, loading and unloading. They are very manoeuvrable
and able to carry pallets over a long distance. The operator stands either at
the back or in the centre on a small platform. They are powered by electricity.
On
successful completion of thisOrder
Picker Truck Course, candidates will be issued
with a certificate of training. This RTITB Certificate of Basic Operator
Training ensures you are compliant with compliant with the Health and Safety at
work Act 1974, it is also internationally recognised.
